LEBANON'S OLD COURT HOUSE

This early print shows the old Lebanon Court House, with Columbia perched high above the bell tower's cupola. The structure was ravaged by fire in 1908 and was later raised. In the late 19th century, gallows were erected on this sidewalk to execute the sentence for several of the "Blue-eyed Six." (courtesy Lebanon County Historical Society)
